About

Denise Brinkmeyer grew up as the only daughter in a house of six. As the oldest child, she knew the value of performance even though she was “a girl.”

She worked in several industries during college and to supplement her teaching income. Ultimately, these experiences along with her entrepreneurial talents led to her success at JUMP.

Graduating from college with a Bachelors of Science in Communications, Denise followed her passion for teaching middle school students in California, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

A strong believer in “iron sharpens iron,” Denise created competitive leagues where none existed so that her students could sharpen their public speaking and academic skills. Confidence gained in public speaking led to dramatically improved academic performance for many of her students.

When economic challenges from raising children on a teacher’s salary required that she leave her beloved teaching career, she embarked on a technology path that was unusual for women in their mid 30’s. Her plan to certify as a Microsoft Certified Professional earned her the job interview that led to her current position with JUMP. This pivot proved to be a thrilling adventure for her as she moved from programmer to project manager to president of the company.

Today, Denise along with her husband, Alan, run JUMP Technology Services. They are passionate about serving social services programs that serve vulnerable adults.

Denise holds several technical certifications as well as the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential. She is a published author and an accomplished public speaker. She is available for speaking engagements and periodically offers project management prep classes.

Courage means that you are afraid of something, but you do it because it needs to be done.
